Starved people of Flood affected Totapada Village got food after 3 days
RSS Swayamsevaks served them cooked food for first time.
Balasore,16 october -: Totapada village which is situated only 3.5km away from Balasore town but unfortunately villagers are unable to get any assistance from Government . The village has been surrounded by the flood water of Burabalanga river from 13th Oct night. Despite of the challenging situation RSS Swayamsevaks crossed the river with necessary food materials and arranged a center where food was cooked . Cooked food has been served to around 500 strand villagers Including kids and elders.
The village Ex. Sarpanch, Sri Madhusudan Barik says: they could able to get cooked food after 3 days. Even though there was enough stock of puffed rice and rice, the villagers were denied by govt officials.
Further the village President Sri Upendra Majhi informed that there is absolutely No fodder for the cattle, no electricity and no drinking water from past 3days.
Nanda Kishore rana, Ranjan Muduli, Subrato Dey , Tuntun saha with a team of 20 swayamsevaks worked selflessly under the guidance of Vibhag Sanghachalak Sri Raghunath Patra in this operation.
